lots o luggage.

Last Sunday morning, December 5th, Beth Goldstein, Kiki Cohen and myself were invited to a special event that took place at Rodef Shalom. This event was in honor of a special project that was organized by Tsipy Gor and the synagogue's religious school students. When we arrived in the large multi-purpose room, there were students everywhere and large piles of suitcases in the middle were being meticulously filled with clothing, toys and other fun things. This group had managed to fill 8 large suitcases full for our J'Burgh group to bring to Israel with us. They will be traveling by our side and under our careful eye until we make it the Karmiel Children's village. There, the suitcases will be left for the children and their caretakers to enjoy from their friends in Pittsburgh.

This is quite an inspiring project that these students put together and we are thrilled to be able to help them out by hand delivering the packed suitcases.
